Since reading Dickens’ “A Child’s History of England” in 5th grade, I have been fascinated by British history (my paternal side came to US from Wales before the Amer. Rev.). I recently discovered you while browsing in the library and have become an avid reader. Your “Arthur” series hooked me and I am reading the Saxon stories now.
Wish I was back teaching in junior high…could have used excerpts of your novels in class to show life in those times. Am very happy to live “nowadays” with hot water, deodorants, and women’s rights!
