So, first I read the Saxon Chronicles and…wow. I absolutely loved it. Your characters are so real and your ability to put a reader directly into the action is unmatched in anything I’ve read (totally caught me off guard when he got sold into slavery, never saw it coming!).
I was a bit sad when I finished but then I discovered the Sharpe series. I’m on book III now and it’s amazing. So thank you and best of luck
