First, I am assuming this is where I can make comments – because I did not see a similar place as it is presented here.
I am thoroughly enjoying the War Lord series. I am now reading Enemy of God and as I move site to another, i.e., Lugg Vale, I will swoop down in Google Earth to the area of Lugg Vale to visually capture the prose I am reading. I am very happy to see the presence of Roman sites, uniforms, etc., and I do agree strongly that the presence of Roman culture would be very difficult to rid the landscape of 400 years of Roman activity as easily as some believe. I began my read of fiction about Arthur in the 1980s and have read the Stewart and Jack Whyte books(all of them) and now reading probably the most interesting of any fictional view of King Arthur. I am convinced there was a strong war leader that was the glue that held Romano-British strength against the Saxons. I’m intrigued of a Lancelot who is hollow. I’m very much of a visual learner and images of the period are very important to me in my understanding of the period. While no questions now, when I finish Ill probably have some questions
