I really enjoyed Azincourt; the storytelling-perspective-switching (nice word for Scrabble) worked really well during the battle, and it was nice to experience the battle from French perspective too. I do hope we will see more of the Sire the Lanferelle. I found myself rooting for him at the end of the book, despite his cruel behaviour. I can tell he has much pain over his estranged daughter, something we can relate to … I also hope Sir Martin does not survive in any way; what a malicious character! While hoping for Nick to return in the battle of Verneuil, I will read the Grail Quest and make my own longbow. I’m also looking forward to more Uhtred, as well as any buccaneer works you might write.
