I have just completed listening to Sharpe’s Tiger as an audio book — the William Gaminara version — most enjoyable especially on the M25 on a Friday evening. I am hoping to get the same pleasure that Patrick O’Brian has given me — cracking yarns, a profound respect for history, and a sense of period style.
Aren’t I the lucky one — so much to look forward to!
