i am 1/2 way thro’ your pagan lord, and find that Uhtred travels to Bamburgh and Beadnell as they are now called, to retake his castle. as i am 80, who now am retired to Beadnell, and was living here during the war, your knowledge of the area is good. i am surprised you took time to visit us.from the US. carry on your good work–and thank you for entertaining an old man.
