Fell in love with Sharpe during the TV run and hadn’t read any of the books but recently found some at a used bookstore when my granddaughter treated me to some books as a birthday gift.. Discovered some affordable ones (2). I just love historical books, whether about military exploits or romance. My ancestors may come from south of the border but British history affected my eventual American heritage. I plan to buy more of your Sharpe’s books. Also, the Saxon series which sound terrific.
