Dear Mr Cornwell,
I have just at the late time of 23:33 finished reading the last Starbuck book, which also means I have now read every single book you have published. I was never a big reader as a child and would hate having to read a book for school. Until I went to boarding school I never read a book cover to cover. After my first month at this school I saw my head master reading ‘Vagabond’ I asked him what It was about and he said ‘Thomas of Hookton’ rather bluntly. Anyway when I got back to my room that night on my desk was the book. Since that moment 9 years ago I have literally never been without a historical fiction book. I have always enjoyed your stories and I look forward to reading more of them, when they come out.
Your faithfully
Lyam Hedley Bentham
