Now… I know this is probably way off, but is Sharpe’s dad a guy named Napoleon? Very unlikely, but anymore most guesses are shots in the dark aren’t they? I remember reading somewhere that Napoleon liked to ride horses when he wasn’t fighting the coalitions, (in fact he almost died once)
