Dear Mr Cornwell,
I am nearly at the end of completing the Sharpe series of books for the third time. Fabulous as always but this time I must have been so emerged that I had a terrifying dream that left me isolated in a redcoat with a musket hiding in a stone out-building. The French were so close and I knew I could shoot one but what to do when your have fired the bullet and you’ve alerted the rest of the enemy to your position? It was so real I could feel the material of the homespun I wore. In my dream i didn’t fire, I hid! You don’t need complements from a bloke from Norfolk but it surely is a testament to your writing and enthusiasm for your subject that caused this amazing experience. Thank you. By the way top book for me The FORT!
