I have read and frequently re-read your “Warlord Chronicles”, “Grail Quest” series, and am currently engrossed in re-reading all of the available “Saxon Tales”, as well as “Agincourt” and “1356”. After one of your battle scenes, particularly in “Agincourt” and “1356”, I am always amazed t find that I am not freezing, starving, barefoot, and up to my waist in mud blood, and other substances. It is a shock to find that I am really in the 21st century, just a little old lady with my cat purring away in my lap as I read. It is so easy to lose all sense of time and place while engrossed in your books. I am truly sorry I can’t meet Thomas of Hookton, Derfel, Uhtred, and Nicholas Hook in person. I am looking forward to “The Last Kingdom” TV series. I am a fan for life.
