First I would like to thank you for many hours of pleasure I have enjoyed of your hard work. As I am legally blind I find audio books to be my avenue to the wonderful world of words. However, I am sorry to learn you have never listened to any of your books. I encourage you to do so. You will find that there are great narrators and less than good ones.
Jonathan Keeble brings your characters to life in all their bloody glory. I don’t need a movie made of your books when listening to him. I can feel the sea spray and the wind when riding in the ship with Ragnar, I cried tears with Derfel at the loss of his daughter and felt the hatred and desperation as Nimue cut Merlin’s throat.
Alas, other narrators have killed the thrill and joy of your books. I struggle to listen to their rendition. There is no life to their readings. Please I beg you. Listen to even one of your books that Jonathan Keeble has narrated. Then Please, if at all possible, insist on him being the only one that narrates your stories.
Your writings are magnificent, bring them to life in the listening word.
Thank you
Ora Miller
