Dear Mr. Cornwell,
You are my favorite author. I love historical novels about medieval Europe. I’ve read the complete Saxon tales, the Arthur series, the Archer’s tale series, and Stonehenge. Since you are the premier writer of history and legend regarding early English history, I would love to read your take on Robin Hood. I am sure that I am not the first person to make such a request of you on this matter.
It would seem to be right up your alley; a bit of historical legend to start off with, but enough unknown to really write your own take however you see fit.
Thank you for your wonderful contribution to English culture. I look forward to your next book.
sincerely,
Rod Hillen
