Dear Mr Cornwell
I have started reading your book, ‘Waterloo’ and have an obseravtion for you. The book has about 15 maps which the reader needs to refer to to make sense of the prose. However the maps are not listed in the contents. This is most frustrating. I have resorted to searching for, and finding, those maps and placing post-its on those pages.
I am a great fan of your Sharpe stories, albeit I have only watched the TV series. They are really good ‘ripping yarns’, in the vein of Hornblower. For some reason the Napoleanic wars have a fascination for me.
Yours sincerely
Barry Faith
