It has been some time since my last communique, but I’d like to once again express my awe and gratitude for your work. I have just finished reading The Last Kingdom and once again you have created an engaging and stalwart character in Uhtred!
I have been involved in Medieval Reenactment now for a number of years and your books have become my bible for life and living in those times and I draw much inspiration from your characters, My own persona being that of a Saxon, so again thank you
