I hope this message finds you well after a hectic December.
What can I say? Series One of The Last Kingdom has now been concluded by The Beeb – and yes I know, there has been much comment about its adherence (or lack of it) to the original books. But Hell on wheels, the first series was an absolute hoot – full of derring-do; and the development of the supporting luvvies’ characters – King A, and Father B, in particular have been rather fun. Indeed a twist I hadn’t considered in the original books.
Well done Beeb, and well done you.
