One matter that caught my attention in “Stonehenge,” other than the excellent story, was the use of sledges to transport stones to the temple site. I know there were no wheels in Britain until almost a thousand years after the timeline of your novel. Do you know of any modern attempts to build a replica Stonehenge using the technology available at that time, meaning, without wheels?
I enjoyed the novel and I was much impressed by your characterization of Camaban. I can only remember one other character from literature who made the transition from victim to hero to anti-hero to villain all in the short space of one novel, and that was Michael Corleone. Maybe I’m not as well-read as others. In any case, well done, sir.
