I’ve been re-reading your catalogue and I’m in the middle of “Battle Flag,” when, on a whim, I search for Starbuck Chronicles Series and got a hit on the series being done by Stick and Stones! How wonderful!!! By a glorious twist of fate, I recently moved to Hagerstown, Maryland (half-hour drive north of Antietam) and hope beyond hope that they’ll shoot something on an actual battlefield. I’ve asked them to keep me informed if they do, so at the very least I can watch from a distance. I also, shamelessly, asked to be an extra. Well, I actually asked if I could play Captain Moxey (unfortunately I think I’d make a good Mox), but I’m not unrealistic. Something to be shot to hell by canister would be a dream come true. But I digress. It’s wonderful news and I appreciate every word you’ve ever written. Thank you for making my life rich beyond measure. -Matt
During my second read of Copperhead I made the connection between Patrick Lassan and Richard Sharpe. Patrick is Richard’s son, isn’t he? When I figured it out (I must have during the first read, being an obvious reference, but it felt like the first time I realized it) I laughed out loud. A singular, joyful experience. Well done and thank you.
