Dear Bernard

I wondered if after the Fort and the fact you also live in Charleston, which is famous for its siege, whether you planned to write anymore books set in the American Revolution ?

I also wondered what you thought of Nathanael Greene. After Washington he’s considered the most famous Contiental General, credited with winning the South, yet he’s also known for not winning a single battle – losing at Guildford Courthouse – Hobkirks Hill and Eutaw Springs – basically the exact opposite of Wellington or what’s considered a successful General – it seems a bit – I just wondered what your thoughts were on the situation.

Yours sincerely

Geraint

P.S If you have not read it I thoroughly recommend Roy and Lesley Adkins new book on the Siege of Gibraltar an excellent read and worth your time
