I’m looking for a quotation from one of your Last Kingdom books and I can’t recall which book it occurred in. I’ve reread all of them looking for the quote and missed it somewhere on the reread. Could you please help me with this?
The quote I’m looking for involves a commentary on women in general. It speaks of their greatest virtue and you use the word virtue in your description. In it you state, and I paraphrase, that a woman’s greatest virtue is that she can love a man. Of course you stated it much more eloquently than that, which is why I’d like to reread it.
