I have re-read Hornblower and the Hotspur (for the umpteenth time) It is without any doubt one of the best books ever written.
I read your historical notes (again) and smiled a bit at the fact that the publishers sent an envoy to CSF to stay with him until he produced another ‘Hornblower’. Perhaps this is the way of getting you to write another Sharpe 😊
