Auto Draft

Mr. Cornwell,

I have been an avid fan of your books for some time. I think I have read almost all of your books. I own about half of them as hard covers and hope to keep working on closing the gap to a full collection. When I was a young man (I am 66) I began reading Forester’s Hornblower novels and thoroughly enjoyed the author’s take on his hero. Oddly enough the last of the series that I read was Lieutenant Hornblower. It is this story that I would like to ask you about. In this story we have the hero’s story being told not from his viewpoint but from that of his friend Bush giving the readers a different take of Hornblower’s personality and actions. Have you ever considered doing a Sharpe story entirely from the perspective of Sharpe’s friend Harper? I want to thank you for providing me with hours and hours of reading enjoyment.

Best Wishes,

David Pucciarelli
