I have no idea who the father of Sharpe is… I’ve guessed incorrectly and apparently very closely many times over the years, however I now appear to be in a dead end!
But in the interest of perhaps helping some of the other fans who have been guessing recently – the clue about irony, am I correct in thinking this a reference to Sharpe’s father actually being a gentleman?
