Dear Mr Cornwell,
I met you after your entertaining talk at the Cheltenham Literature Festival today, and as I was one of the last in the queue and I didn’t want to hold you up, I opted for a handshake instead of a gush. Nonetheless, what I wanted to say was that I’ve been reading and loving your books for two decades, since I was around 10, starting with the fantastic Sharpe series, and it’s been a huge pleasure accompanying your characters over the years. Please keep up the wonderful work and many thanks indeed for all of your stories.
All the best,
Alex
