My husband, John, was a member of the audience when you spoke at the Tyne Theatre in Newcastle on 8 October. He was so pleased with the whole evening (my youngest brother”s treat for John’s 80th birthday) and your kind words that he doesn’t look 80!! Many thanks from me too for reigniting his love of reading. He started with Richard Sharpe and now has all but about 10 of all the books you have written. I personally loved Gallows Thief, A Crowning Glory and Fallen Angel.
