I just wanted to say thank you for the pleasure your book has given me. I started The Warlord trilogy a couple of days ago and I have to admit I have sat for hour upon hour reading instead of getting on with any work. In fact, having just started Excalibur and reached to point where the fires are about to be lit at Mai Dun, I have actually had to lock my Kindle away in a drawer so that my dogs get a walk, the dishes get done and emails get answered etc. etc.!
The War Lord has to be one of the best books I have read in years – so vivid it’s like being an eye witness, and since I have not read any of your other books I now have the delightful prospect of nearly endless piles of reading.
