I have only recently discovered your books and am currently about half way through the Sharpe series and simply can’t put them down! I just wanted to thank you for your story telling skills in creating such real characters we care for and weaving their stories into these historically significant events. The plot twists are unexpected and the attention to detail is remarkable. I’ve become fascinated by the Napoleonic wars thanks to your writing, you paint a vivid picture of what the soldiers endured and the bravery, savagery and fear they felt during battle.
