Dear Mister Cornwell,
I love your books, particularly the Arthur trilogy and Sharpe’s Indian adventures. I would love to read of Sharpe at Rolica and Vimiero and the battle of Albuera, though neither seem to warrant an entire novel. He was after all wounded at Fuentes de Onoro and that was only four days before Albuera. In a single novel perhaps, like the way Alan Mallinson did in his Hervey novels? The battle of St Pierre in December 1813 would also be a great read. I’ve recently travelled around Myanmar, and whilst there I thought the First Anglo-Burma War would make an interesting Sharpe novel, that is if he had a reason to strap his sword on again in 1824. Captain Morris may even be there. My question is, if Sharpe is to march again will we see him at Albuera or St Pierre?
Thanks.
Thomas
