I am a massive fan of the original series and in particular Sean Bean. The TV shows where how I first discovered Sharpe but after reading your excellent novels and rewatching the series this year, I realise how just much of the story, characters and in particular those epic and famous battles had to be changed due to budget constraints. They did a great job but I would love to see these stories as you wrote them on the big screen.
My question is would you like to see or would you ever consider a reboot and bringing the story of Sharpe to the cinema or even an epic Game of Thrones style type series…starting him in India and following his journey??
