Auto Draft

At home during an extreme cold snap in the 1990’s, with two toddler boys, a husband who was a young Chicago attorney, I read the Sharpe’s series on long, cold nights alone. When I had read everything you had written I asked the librarian at our local library for some suggestions. That sixty year old woman looked me up and down and said” so you enjoy gentleman’s adventure”. Needless to say I then read Horacio Hornblower and she did recommend Flashman! It was that and M. M. Kaye’s “ Shadow of the Moon” that got me through the cabin fever. I’ve been a huge fan ever since. One of those toddlers was a history major and has read EVERYTHING you have written. Simply…thank you.
