I just wish to let you know how very much I have enjoyed reading this series and that statement does not do my pleasure justice. Since being a child, the legend of Arthur has been embedded in my DNA (I am now 75). I have read as many fiction books on the subject that I have been able to find and read the research facts at the end of every book. Your trilogy comes as near to the ‘real’ story that fits my logical mind. I have always been uncomfortable with the stories when they turn from Merlin magic to hunting for the Holy Grail. The way you have written these books, took me back to Saxon times, what Merlin did made sense, as well as how Christianity was trying to get a toe hold in Britain. The fact that Arthur was not a great king but was a great warlord. The Arthur and Guinevere story, less romantic and more believable. I was so sorry to read the last words of the trilogy, as I was transported back to a place in history and I lived it. So Thank You
