Hello Mr Cornwell
Thank you for your very cleverly titled Sword of Kings – Very entertaining!! Also fun retreading some of Lundene’s fond & revolting memories. You’ve created the perfect venue for yet another furious climax – Well DONE!!
I’m admit that aging into senior years has probably slowed perceptiveness here. It wasn’t until completing Sword of Kings that I realized to what this title refers. Heck, even the book’s cover picture of a fine Saxon helmet discarded beside a river wasn’t knowable until the last page.
By the way, I hope AEthestan recovers that lid, as your Historical Note suggests he may well need it!
So question for ya – Am I just slower these days, or are you becoming somewhat more obscure in such matters? Or, perhaps it’s simply your publicist’s creativity?
Cheers
Kenneth
PS: Can’t wait for #13 – So, get back to work!!
