Hi Bernard [if I may call you that as I feel like I already know you lol].
Thank you for the fantastic Last Kingdom series and the other books . I have not read all of the Last Kingdom series yet [trying to purchase the last 3 ’11-13′ at the moment] but they have given me the escapism that I need in a busy life full of realism. The other books have simply been fantastic as well.
I would like to think that some day people like Uhtred would once again be part of our world as they definitely keep the powers of control in check. He is a wonderful character full of life and lives on the edge which is where we should all be living. I am simply a romantic heroic person at heart and your books simply allow me to feel great within myself in a time when its difficult to find physical satisfaction of the same.
Thank you again for allowing me to escape and have faith in our hero’s. Maybe some day when you are down under [I live in Queensland Australia] you can come and have a cuppa with us and share some of your many journeys – who knows, maybe you might discover a hero in our country that might inspire your next book lol
