Hi,
I’m now 27 but I began reading Sharpe when I was in my early teens after being introduced to them through my grandad who was always a big fan of all your works and Napoleonic era history in general.
Admittedly I only made my way through the first 10 or so before other teenage distractions took over in my life, however after the recent death of my grandad I decided I would pick them back up again, promising myself I would finish them. Due to lockdown that means I have been able to finish the first 7 within a month. I just wanted to say a quick thank you for gifting the literary world a series that is able to transcend generations and has helped me feel connected still, in some way, to my grandad AND entertain me during this strange period.
Kind regards,
James
