to say I am a huge fan of your Last Kingdom and Arthur series is a massive understatement. And I loved the first and second season of TLK on TV, despite that I rarely watch TV. Season 3 was not as good since they departed from your story and characters a lot, but still ok. Season 4, in my humble opinion was almost heartbreaking to watch. I have never in my life felt moved to write an author or for that matter write to any internet/media related entity at all, but I feel like I have to do it now. They not only ruined your story, but the re-writing was uninspired, mundane, and worst of all they absolutely destroyed the essence of Uhtred. I know you don’t like to do this, but please ask them to put him back to himself if season 5 happens. And for good measure, maybe a “never before seen“ flashback scene or two with The Fearless to help Uhtred get his spine back! Like in the early books when Uhtred would contemplate how proud Ragnar would be of him after various Sword-Dane worthy accomplishments. Keep up the incredible books, I hope you’ll give Uhtred a good death.
