It was with a heavy heart that I picked up War Lord from our library and nursed my way through it as slowly as I could. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed the entire series over the past few years. I have become obsessed with other novels and authors about the era.
I have read the Arthur series, Grail Quest, Stonehenge, and several of the Sharpe series. But I have to say I enjoyed the Saxon tales the most. Thank you for such a magnificent tale.
