Just to say have regretfully finished reading War Lord. All 13 books have been excellent – not a weak link among them,
Incidentally, I did find the TV series very disappointing, whereas re Sharpe I did see the film Sharpe’s Company first and have loved all the films but have only read one Sharpe book!
Anyway just wanted thank you for some very enjoyable hours of my life reading that excellent Last Kingdom series.
