Mr. Cornwell,
I just finished War Lord and so the end of your Saxon series. Thank you. I will miss Uhtred but all tales must come to an end. Historical Fiction is my favorite genre and I haven’t read anyone who does it as well as you. Although I am an American (living in Anchorage) I have an affinity for European history and particularity enjoyed Agincourt and the Archer series. My father was a career Air Force man and in his 30 year career I had never seen him read anything except reports he brought home from work. After he retired he discovered your Sharpe series and read them all. It has been a joy to read those and watch the BBC series (I mean, Sean Bean, right?) with my father.
So just wanted to drop a line and say Thank You from me and my dad, and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. May your ink well never run dry!
