I have recently purchased the whole Sharpe series, and it is fantastic. Major General Nairn had me crying with laughter; what a character, but I hated Hakeswill. At one time I thought Patrick Harper was going to kill him. I’m just starting Sharpe’s Honour. I also bought and read The Warlord Chronicles. Excellent. I can’t wait for the new Sharpe book.
