Better late than never, I suppose–on page 171 of Sharpe’s Devil you make reference to Toronto, which, unfortunately, was named York until 1834. I’m delighted that there is a re-issue of all the Sharpe books–the cover art idea for the Canadian copies is great. Perhaps you can get one of your editors to make a change in Devil before it reaches the new paperback printing stage.
Thanks very much for all of your work since Rifles was first published. I’ve just finished re-reading them chronologically AGAIN and yes, I think there are 4 or 5 more Sharpe books in that time line that could be possible.
