Dear Bernard,
Thank you, thank you for another Sharpe and Patrick. I can’t pace myself and end up reading them in a day. I’ve been rereading them for quite a while until your lastest “Sharpe’s Assassin”. Please don’t have me rereading them for another long period before you write another. Even if Sharpe and Patrick get to be my age I woiuld like to see them grow old in their adventures.
I’ve moved into a retirement facility and the only books i’ve kept with me are yours, Andrea Camilleri, Patrick O’brien, Donna Leion, and Louis Penney otherwise I use the library.
