I hope you will see this. I just wanted to let you know that I am on your fourth book of the Last Kingdom series and have read them all so far within less than four weeks. They have been the highlight of my day to read and my love of Saxons and vikings have been reinforced by your excellent story telling. Through a sad few months in my life your stories have been my support and I thank you greatly. I refuse to watch the tv show until I’ve finished all the books and have imagined the characters in the way you’ve described them! But I will certainly watch it afterwards. I cried at the end of the third book as Ragnar got his revenge and Thyra was finally rescued. Tears of happiness. You are the only author to make the reader sometimes dislike the main character for his actions whilst still adoring the journey he leads and the relationships he makes. I adore these books.
