I thoroughly enjoyed the Last Kingdom and was both surprised and very pleased that my family tree also goes back to Uhtred the Bold. He is ( was?) my 31st great grandfather. Alfred the Great is on another branch as my 35th great grandfather. I’m sure I’m one of many but it’s still interesting and thanks to you that I researched and learned this!
