Dear Bernard.
I have just finished reading your Warlord Chronicles which you wrote in the 1990s. Quite often I finish reading a book and I may think it;s a good read, or not so. Very occasionally, I mean quite rarely do I grieve over finishing a book, perahps grieve over not being to read more about the story and characters. Your Warlord Chronicles had this effect on me. I became quite attached to Derfel and will miss him. You state that these are you favourite books of all those you have written, I can quite inderstand why. I also has a similar reaction when reading your final Lost Kingdom series of books.
So I thank you so very much for giving me much joy and pleasure. I hope you will write more of these historical fiction books.
