I am on a December vacation in Maui. Bad timing. Weather is lousy. Forced to be inside my rented condo. Unfortunately, due to the weather, there is no Internet, no TV, and no cable. In addition the cell phone service is at 1 bar level. I was descending into a really really dark mood. Then I remembered that when I left home, on a whim I tossed in a well worn paperback just for the heck of it. YES YES YES: Sharpes Battle to the rescue. What a game changer.
