Dear Mr. Cornwell,
I am a huge fan of Starbuck. After watching sharp nearly 15 years ago I discovered Starbuck. I was a “fan” of the ACW since my youth (nearly 40 years ago) and in your novels I found the best stories to get it alive in my mind. As a wargamer it is sometimes very single directed to watch it on gaming tables. Starbuck is the most important source to understand this very American thing. When I read that you won’t write the missing 5th book I was very disappointed about it. Why not give this kind of antihero his well earned final book? He really worked hard over four books for a final book. So, as a huge fan, please write the final book and give Starbuck his peace. Now he is standing in the middle of nowhere (or in the middle of the war in 1862). And he needs to get to Gettysburg and maybe a bit more to the end of the war. I wonder if he will be a part of Lincolns assassination? Or will he go to South America as mercenary in the War of the triple alliance!
