Just to say how sorry I am due to 2024 being a nightmare year for yourself and Judy. Hopefully the horrific schedule from hell will soon subside enabling both of you to enjoy life. And much as we look forward to a new Sharpe novel, it’s very understandable that you need time out to take breath from all the rigours, besides enjoying your other hobbies and pursuits. It’s actually incredible how you’ve released a novel every year since 1980! I probably okay for me speaking for all fans worldwide when I say: We’re very grateful for all you have written thus far, for all that is to be written, and our thoughts are with you both during such difficult times. Please also pass on my best wishes to your wife Judy :)
