I found myself addicted to the Richard Sharpe series (I’m just starting “Sharpe’s Enemy”), after having read several other series, such as the Saxon series, the Grail Quest series, et. al. Love ’em all! I read recently that you listed Obadiah Hakeswill as one of your favorite characters. I imagine he’s great fun to develop and write about, but what a rotten SOB he is! Are you sorry you killed him off, or did he somehow survive the pit at Gawilghur? I was never quite certain. Can hardly wait for “The Pagan Lord”. Please keep up the great work!
