I was chatting to my mother on the phone the other day; she is in France and I am in Spain with the rest of our family mostly in Scotland, and what she most wanted to know, after the usual family chit chat was when the next Uhtred book would appear. She is now 87, a historian and since I introduced to your Sharpe books a great fan, as am I and as are most of my brothers. I was happy to be able to tell her it was coming in the autumn when she will be back in Scotland. Although she does not want to live forever she would like to live long enough to see Uhtred back in his Northumbrian castle. I trust they will both make it. No question, I only wish to say your books are great. Thanks from both of us.
