I recently discovered your books at my public library and am very much enjoying them (read Archer’s Tale first, then Agincourt, and now Stonehenge). I love historical fiction and you do first rate research. I have a background in archeaology and used to do historical re-enactment so I appreciate this. I also love your appreciation for the archer’s craft – I used to shoot (bare-bow traditional) but have had to give that up do to “archer’s elbow”. :)
I see you live on the Cape. I love the Cape – pretty much grew up there every summer (camping at Nickerson State Forest) until the Cape just got too touristy and crowded. Although I still sometimes go in late September when the weather is still lovely and you can take dogs on the beaches.
Well anyway, I look forward to reading more of your books and I also appreciate your reading list on your website – I recently discovered interlibrary loan and am always looking for more stuff to read.
